Welcome to the Official Website of EBIFC

East Brunswick Independent Fire Company

East Brunswick, NJ is one of the fastest growing suburban areas in central Middlesex County.  Today, with an estimated population of between 45,000 and 50,000 residents within an approximately twenty four square miles, it has a multitude of residential developments, shopping centers, industrial parks, apartment complexes, condos, town houses and hotels.  There is also the twin tower center - two 23 story office high rises and a 14 story hotel.

Fire protection in East Brunswick, is provided by three independently organized fire companies.  While the Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department  protects the southern part of the township, the Brookview Volunteer Fire Company protects the western portion.  East Brunswick Independent Fire Company covers the northern half of the township.

In the next several pages and links, we will do our best to present to you, our guest, the many facets of our organization.  We will not have empty pages "under construction", but  occasionally will add new pages and features, so visit often.

The officers and members of the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company are committed to providing the highest level of service to the residents of East Brunswick. Our professionalism and work ethic have earned us the reputation as one of the best volunteer fire departments in the state. From Cape May to Sussex , fellow firefighters have only positive things to say about "the guys in the white trucks". Our emphasis on training along with the pride for both our department and vocation will ensure that the tradition of volunteer firefighting in East Brunswick will continue to grow and prosper.      Chief James E. Varick
