Dear Chief Varick and Firefighters:

This letters is written to express our most sincere thanks for your rapid and effective response to the fire in our factory last Friday morning. Your professionalism and effectiveness were evident to every one of the employees of our company.

The amount of time and energy each of you expend in training to be prepared to respond appropriately in situations such as the one with which we were confronted last Friday is too often taken for granted.
