The Commissioners of Fire District 2
I am deeply honored by your decision to name the new administrative office building in my name. The fire company has certainly come a long way since that November night in 1952 when I first walked into the Willow Street firehouse. We have progressed from one small pumper in one station to three modern stations with a remarkable fleet of apparatus and extraordinary fire personnel. I am so grateful to have been a part of the many changes and improvements that have been made over the past 56 years.
I am humbled by your thoughtfulness and thank all of you for being such an important part of my life.
