Bus Fire - NJTPK, NSI, mm 80.7
March 16, 2009
Meet John Sandor. John, a crew member tending to the burnt out hull of the bus, was at the scene taking pictures. I approached and handed him a note with my email address. I tried to impress upon him how great it would be for us to have these pictures on our website and would really be grateful it if he would send them to me. John explained that being a firefighter himself he could appreciate that and would send the pictures to me in a few days. Well, you usually meet guys that would tell you, "yeh, yeh, don't worry", "trust me", "no problems" and "I'll take care of it" and that's the last you ever hear from them. Being the annoying guy that I am, I really had to restrain myself from badgering the guy and keep repeating my plight over and over. I was afraid I might blow it all together so I walked away and hoped for the best. But John didn't just flap his gums (actually he's pretty quiet). John delivered. Below are the pictures he took and was kind enough to let us have them and post on our website. Thank you John.
John is a member of Pioneer Hose Fire Company, Station 22 in Brick, NJ.
